Fort Stanwix Daughters participate in numerous community and DAR activities to promote education and patriotism.  The list is long and varied. Here are just a few:

  • Participate in Observances of Historic and Patriotic Events
  • Flag Presentations to Community Organizations
  • Flag Day Observances
  • Area Student Recognition through DAR Good Citizens Awards, American History Essay Contests, and Flag Essay Competition
  • Award Community Service Awards to Honor Area Volunteers
  • Partner with Area Historical and Genealogical Organizations in Research and Preservation Initiatives
  • 50th Anniversary Vietnam War Commemorative Partner
