Francis Bellamy Gravesite

Francis Bellamy was born in Mount Morris, NY, in 1855; he attended Rome, NY, schools and graduated from Rome Free Academy. He is buried in Rome Cemetery, located on Jervis Ave. at Cemetery Rd. His first wife, Harriet Benton, the mother of his sons David and John, is also buried there. His second wife, Marie Morin, his father, Reverend David Bellamy, and his mother, Lucy Clark Eels Bellamy, are also buried in the family plot. Bellamy died on August 28, 1931, at 76 years of age, in Tampa, Florida.
